Best as we can tell, there are no other seminars like these anywhere else in the world. Banish the image of sterile banquet rooms, bad coffee and uninspired PowerPoint presentations. Our seminars are held upstairs in Zingerman's Deli so you're right in the middle of the action - surrounded by full-flavored, traditionally made food and lots of out-of-the-box ideas on how we run our organization. We've designed the sessions to be small (usually 25 participants or so) and very interactive. And while we consider PowerPoint a useful tool, we almost never use it. The seminars are taught by Zingerman's founding and managing partners, as well as subject-matter experts from throughout the organization. A typical seminar class roster includes a few Zingerman's managers and supervisors, along with participants from organizations in a wide range of industries - food and non-food retail, manufacturing, nonprofits, healthcare, libraries, schools and professional services. The course fee of $945/person includes tuitions, instructional materials, plenty of product sampling, breakfast and lunch. Each day's session begins at 8AM and ends promptly at 4PM.
ZingTrain's seminars are held upstairs at Zingerman's Delicatessen, 422 Detroit St., Ann Arbor, Michigan.
